El Paso Electric Rate Increase
El Paso Electric is proposing a rate increase. The average customer will see a 13.5% increase in their electric bill. EPAA has filed a protest with the Texas Public Utilities Commission. The El Paso City Council is unanimously opposed to the rate increase and has scheduled a series of community meetings to gather public comments. Below is a schedule of the community meetings. If you are opposed to the rate increase, it is imperative that you show up to the meetings and express your concerns.
