Rental and Mortgage Assistance

The Paso del Norte Community Foundation and Under One Roof will facilitate the award of millions of dollars in assistance for renters in the City of El Paso who are affected by COVID-19. This program will re-launch soon. Further information will be provided when the program nears the launch date.

Texas Home Program
State of Texas funded rental assistance program administered by Under One Roof. Eligible tenants can receive up to 6-months past or future rental payments.

Project Bravo
Mortgage assistance up to 3-months and rental assistance up to 3-months.

Texas Eviction Diversion Program
As one of nine state-designated organizations to oversee this pilot program, Project BRAVO is able to provide clients with up to 6 months of rental assistance for households facing eviction. A County Judge or Justice of the Peace must refer the household directly to Project BRAVO during court as part of an Eviction Appeal.

El Paso County General Assistance Fund
Rent, mortgage and limited water utility assistance from CARES Act funding is available for individuals and families who live outside City limits of El Paso, can demonstrate loss of income due to COVID-19 pandemic and meet 150% of Federal Poverty Level.

Endeavors
Provides financial assistance to qualified MILITARY VETERANS for rent, mortgage, utilities and other direct financial assistance.
